I love this recipe. I've been making it for years now. I had eaten a creamy tomato pasta dish at a nice restaurant and wanted to make it myself. This recipe is it! I use San Marzano tomatoes, and the tomatoes are tender and delicious. I don't stray from the recipe except to add spinach on occasion. This recipe is solid.

This was so easy to make and so yummy!!!! I substituted smoked sausage and canned Italian style diced tomatoes (drained). I also added a little corn starch to the sauce to thicken it. Everyone in the family LOVED it!!!

I made the recipe and it was a little bland for my taste. I added a 1/4 tsp. white pepper, 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning and a 1/3 cup white wine and the recipe will be a crowd favorite. My dinner party friends loved it! Tastes like you were out to one of your favorite upscale Italian restaurants enjoy!

I LOVE this recipe, my mom made it for me a few years back. When I first moved out this was the first meal I made in my new home.....Then I lost the recipe (even though it is soooo easy to make) and haven't made it in a while. Then I found it on Cooks.oom and I am making it tonight!!! It is soooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!

I add the tomatoes and the juice that the tomatoes come in into the sauce. I also cut the sausage into chunks instead of crumbling it up. Very good!

I make this recipe using fresh sliced mushrooms and fettuccine instead of bow tie pasta, I also thicken it with a little corn starch.
