MARINATED COLE SLAW 
1 lg. head shredded cabbage
1 sliced green pepper
1 med. jar drained pimentos
2 med. onions, sliced in rings
1 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Arrange cabbage, pepper, pimentos and onions in layers. DO NOT STIR. Combine remaining ingredients for dressing and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Pour over the layered cabbage mixture and let set for at least 4 hours before serving.
