MARINATED SLAW 
1 head cabbage, grated
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. celery seed

Heat vinegar, oil and celery seed. Pour 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon salt over cabbage. When liquid mixture is cool, mix with cabbage and refrigerate overnight.
