"Many years ago when Uncles Reubens lived in the Moomaw Farm on Princeton Road, I went to stay overnight. At supper time, Rube Dorothy had made homemade bread and tomato gravy, something I could hardly eat. After all had sat down and grace had been said, Uncle Rube served the children their homemade bread and tomato gravy, me included. There I sat with this awful stuff before me, but because of the great love I had for this family, I ate every bite of it. Even though I didn't ask for seconds, I'm sure. I'm sure we also had tomato gravy at our house, but we used to eat it with fried potatoes or soda crackers.
