ALMOND SNOWBALLS 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. 10X sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 blanched ground almonds

Cream butter and sugar. Add salt and vanilla. Stir in flour, then nuts. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Bake on ungreased sheet for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and roll in more 10X sugar.
