BRAZIL NUT SNOWBALLS 
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Brazil nuts, chopped fine

Cream together butter and sugar; add vanilla and egg. Sift flour, salt, and nuts into cream mixture. Cut flour and salt into egg, butter, and sugar. Stir in nuts. Shape into small balls. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool slightly. Roll in 4x sugar. Makes 6 dozen.
