“PASTA AND PEPPERS PARMESAN” IS IN:

PASTA AND PEPPERS PARMESAN 
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 red or green bell peppers, quartered and thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
pinch hot pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces whole wheat or any fettuccine or flat pasta
3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; add bell peppers, garlic, onion, and hot pepper.

Sauté for 5-7 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Reduce heat; keep warm.

Meanwhile, cook fettuccine until al denté according to package directions; drain in a colander.

In a large pasta bowl, mix fettuccine, pepper and cheese; toss well and serve at once.

Servings: 6
