SWEET BABY KICK BUTT CHILI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. bulk hot sausage (Bob Evans Roll) 1 (28 oz.) can baked beans (Bush’s with onion, bacon, brown sugar) 1 1/2 (12 oz. ea.) cans Coke (not diet! - I used cherry Pepsi this time because my kids drank all the Coke!) 1 (10 oz.) can condensed onion soup 1 (10 oz.) can Rotel diced tomatoes 3/4 (18 oz.) bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce (I used sweet & spicy) 1 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. cumin 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. Dave's Insanity hot sauce (optional) Crumble and cook the meat thoroughly in a skillet. Drain (don’t rinse it!) and add to Crock-Pot and stir. Throw everything else into Crock-Pot, stir, put on LOW, and put on the lid. Let the Crock-Pot sit and cook, covered, on LOW for 4 to 6 hours or so. Optional: Allow to cool for an hour and stick the crock in the refrigerator, covered with Saran or plastic wrap overnight. Next day, put back in Crock-Pot covered on LOW, for 4 to 6 hours or so before serving. Submitted by: CrankyMammy |
