FUDGE TYPE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla, beat in eggs. Blend in melted chocolate. Stir in flour and nuts. Bake in greased, 8x8x2 inch pan at 325 degrees for 30- 35 minutes. Cool. Ice with Fudge Icing. Double recipe for a 9x13 inch pan.
