EASY TEA CAKES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco (scant cup)
2 whole eggs
2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and Crisco until sugar begins to melt. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla and flour Mix well. Dough will be stiff. Dip with knife blade using another knife to scrape on cookie sheet. Place one inch apart. Bake at 300-325 degrees until done.
