RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. chopped nuts Mix sugar, butter, and vanilla. Measure flour; add salt. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cookies should not brown. Roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Oven, 400 degrees. Makes about 4 dozen. |
