1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 c. flour 1 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix cream cheese and butter together. Add flour; blend to make a smooth dough. Roll dough into 24 balls the size of walnuts; press each in a muffin cup. Place in refrigerator. Chill for 1 hour. Beat brown sugar, egg and vanilla together until frothy. Stir in nuts. Fill muffin cups. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Yields 24 tassies. |
