CRUNCHY TOPPED TOMATOES -
MICROWAVE
 
2 lg. firm tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. crushed potato chips
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper

Wash tomatoes and cut crosswise into halves. Arrange halves around edge of microwave oven-proof dinner plate or nine inch pie plate. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, crushed potato chips and cheese. Microwave at high 3-4 minutes until hot and cheese is melted.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
