DUTCH APPLE PIE 
1 unbaked pie crust
5 1/2 c. fresh, peeled, sliced cooking apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Brush bottom and sides of pie crust with one beaten egg yolk; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together and put into the prepared pie crust.

TOPPING MIXTURE:

3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter

In medium mixing bowl combine the topping mixture until crumbly. Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over apples. Bake on baking sheet until topping is golden and filling is bubbling, about 50 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool.

This is a great recipe. I made 3 for Thanksgiving 2014. The only thing is thecooking time is too short.. I had to cook this for 75 minutes to get done.
But it was perfect, even the topping, and the topping mixed up well with my Kitchenaid mixer.
