BLUEBERRY CRUMB COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. blueberries

CRUMBS:

1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter

Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg, beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Pour into greased 8-inch round or square cake pan. Cover with berries. Sprinkle lemon juice over berries. Cover berries with crumbs. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven until done.
