LEMON BARBECUE SAUCE 
1 c. butter
1 clove garlic, minced
4 tsp. flour
2/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. thyme

Melt butter in saucepan. Saute garlic in butter for several minutes. Stir in flour, then add rest of the ingredients. Cook, stirring until slightly thickened. Use on either broiling or grilling chicken or fish.
