| PEANUT BUTTER - CHOCOLATE COOKIES | |

1 c. peanut butter 1/4 c. shortening 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 2 c. Bisquick 1/3 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted Combine and mix all ingredients except Bisquick. Stir Bisquick into mixture. Shape dough by teaspoon into balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Dip fork in flour and flatten each ball with crisscross design. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes. Makes 50 cookies. | |

The recipe is great.... just the cook time is a little off! But that may be because instead of melting the chocolate I used chocolate chips and because I didn't have any brown sugar I used honey, a little extra sugar and some maple syrup.... I think they may even taste better...
