BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
1 tbsp. ground mustard
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 lb. pork spareribs
2/3 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. liquid smoke, optional
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine mustard, chili powder, cayenne pepper and garlic powder; rub over ribs. For sauce, combine the remaining ingredients; mix well and set aside. Grill ribs, covered, over indirect heat and medium low coals for 1 hour or until tender, turning occasionally. Baste with sauce during cooking, if desired. Heat the remainder of the sauce, and serve with ribs.
