UNCOOKED JAM 
3 c. mashed ripe fruit (strawberries or raspberries)
6 c. sugar

Combine fruit and sugar. Stir well and let stand 20 minutes. Cook 3/4 cup water and 1 package Sure Jell for 1 minute. Stir in fruit and continue stirring 2 1/2 minutes. Let stand in bowl, stirring occasionally for 24 hours. Put in containers and store in freezer.
