TURTLE CAKE 
1 box German chocolate cake
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Chopped pecans
1 (1 lb.) pkg. caramels
Frosting

Combine cake mix, butter, oil and 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk in mixing bowl. Mix well. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Melt and mix together caramels and remaining condensed milk over low heat until smooth. Spread over baked cake layer. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Cover with remaining cake batter. Bake 25-35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Frost.

FROSTING:

Combine: 3 tbsp. cocoa powder 6 tbsp. evaporated milk

Melt in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and beat in 1 (1 pound) package powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla until smooth. Spread immediately.
