TURTLE CAKE 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 can evaporated milk
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1 c. milk chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Set aside. Beat together cake mix, 3/4 cup evaporated milk and butter. Bake half the cake batter in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Spread caramel mixture on top of layer. Add pecans and chocolate chips. Spread remaining batter and continue baking 15-20 minutes.
