SPINACH & SPROUT SALAD 
1 lb. spinach, washed & torn into pieces
1 (5 oz.) can sliced & drained water chestnuts
1 c. bean sprouts
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
8 sliced bacon, cooked & crumbled

Toss in a large salad bowl.

DRESSING:

1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. bacon drippings
1/3 c. ketchup
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 med. grated onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine and heat to simmer. Pour as much dressing as desired on salad. Mix and serve at once.
