INDIAN FRY BREAD 
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
Water

Mix all ingredients except water. Add water until mixture forms a stiff dough. Knead until dough is thick and elastic. Form into thin patties. Fry in 1/2 inch hot oil until brown on each side. Serve with jam, jellies or apple butter and butter.
