1 box vanilla cake mix (Duncan Hines)
1 egg
1 stick butter, softened

Mix together with hands. (Moisten hands with oil.) Pour into 13"x9" pan and spread out. Batter will be thick.

TOPPING:

1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. all purpose flour or self rising
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. pecans

Mix together, pour on top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (watch, I only had to bake 30 minutes). You can freeze. Makes 30 squares.
