PINK LOZENGER CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 3/4 tsp. cream tartar 3/4 c. butter 4 oz. pink lozengers 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. boiling water Dissolve lozengers in 1 cup of boiling water and let cool. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Pour in lozenger liquid, sifted flour and baking powder and cream of tartar. Beat until smooth. Bake in greased pan 9 x 12 x 2 inches. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. |
