SWISS STEAK 
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. round steak
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 lg. can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 c. beef broth

Combine flour with salt and pepper. Pound mixture thoroughly into meat. Cut into serving pieces. Preheat skillet. Add oil. Brown meat for 5 minutes on each side.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Serves 4-6.
