Favorite Oven-Baked Chicken Parmesan

This sounds great. Cooking tip - when breading food, first chill breaded item/s in the fridge for about 30 minutes before cooking either in skillet or oven. This helps the breading stick better.

This chicken was so yummy and simple to make! I can't believe how flavorful it is with just a few ingredients. It's perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

This gets 5 stars because it's simple and tastes great. I make it all the time and agree with an observation that the cooking time needs to be a little longer but that's no big deal.

Made this tonight. Super easy and delicious. I used seasoned Pablo bread crumbs and used 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Romano and 1/2 cup mozzarella. I also used thinly sliced boneless chicken breast I bought on sale. Enough for 3 meals for 2 people. Highly recommend trying this!

For me simple is always best when it comes to cooking - this is a nice simple recipe. Some changes I tried that worked for me (though taking from the simplicity) - I sautéed slices of red bell peppers in the marinara sauce, I substituted golden flax seeds mixed with Italian seasoning for the bread crumbs, and I used Kraft cheese fiesta blend as my cheese. I also slit the breast three times each breast.

I followed the recipe exactly except I used beef and carrots and potatoes. Wait it's not the same recipe as you posted. I wonder why people post stupid comments about loving the recipe except........ IF you changed the recipe start a new thread.

I used thin cut breast because we made subs & it was just perfect.

I made this recipe tonight. It was out of this world. It was very easy to put together. I added ricotta cheese to the sauce, along with mushrooms and garlic. I like the fact that the chicken is baked and not deep fried. I am a health nut. I cooked some ziti and put it over. It was the absolute best and FAST.

1 tbsp. of dried oregano, basil and 1/4 tsp. dried thyme added to plain bread crumbs instead of the already packaged Italian bread crumbs gives this dish a wonderful lift. Easy, simple and delicious.

I don't enjoy cooking, at all. I made this last night and it was great. The only thing I changed was baking the chicken in beer (Miller Lite, not the good stuff). It was very good and very juicy. The best part, it did not take that long to make.

I loved your idea for adding Parmesan to the bread crumbs. I used Panko, Italian seasoned ones cause its all I had. But we loved it just the same.
