SWISS STEAK 
2 1/2 lb. round steak
Salt and pepper to taste
2 sm. celery stalks, chopped
1 can cream of tomato soup
1 sm. can mushrooms, stems and pieces
1/4 c. cooking sherry
3 tbsp. flour
2 med. onions, sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup

cut steak into serving pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge meat in seasoned flour. Brown onions and celery in 2 tablespoons butter. Place meat in crock pot. Top with onion and celery. Mix mushroom soup, tomato soup, cooking sherry and mushrooms. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours (high 3 - 5 hours).
