"BIG MAC" BURGERS 
1/2 c. soaked garbanzo beans, soaked overnight okay
1/2 c. water
1 c. rolled oats, uncooked
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 med. minced onion
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sage
1 tbsp. soy sauce

Whiz first two ingredients in blender. Remove to a large bowl; add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop from spoon or scoop to form patties on lightly oiled skillet. Brown on both sides. Serve on whole wheat burger buns with desired trimmings. Makes 6 large patties.

These can also be served as main dish with a gravy such as 1/2 can mushroom soup mixed with small amount of low-fat milk or water.
