SAND TARTS 
1 c. less 2 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. water
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix above ingredients by hand. Chill until firm enough to shape with floured fingers, form into date shaped pieces. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. While warm, roll in powdered sugar.
