DUTCH REFRIGERATOR COOKIES | |
2 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1 c. butter 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Cream butter with sugars. Add egg and beat well. Sift dry ingredients and stir into mixture. Add nuts. Shape into rolls about 2 1/2 inches across. W rap in wax paper and chill thoroughly. Slice thin. Bake 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until a delicate brown. Remove from pan at once. Makes about 60 cookies. |
