COCONUT CREAM CANDIES 
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. white syrup
2 lbs. coconut
Coloring (three different)

Bring butter, sugar and syrup. To boiling point, but do not boil. Add coconut. Divide mixture into 3 equal parts and add desired coloring. Press first layer into pan. Add second layer on top and press gently but well. Add third layer and press. Cut into squares.
