2 sticks butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. oil
4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Chill dough. Roll into balls and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
