1 c. Crisco oil
2 c. flour
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. (or 1 jar) baby food prunes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg

Sift flour with baking powder, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and nutmeg in a bowl. Make a letter "S" in mixture and pour in oil, prunes, eggs, vanilla and nuts, mixing until well blended.

Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve while warm with whipped topping.
