BUTTER TARTS 
1 egg
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. raisins or walnuts (not pecans)

Beat egg and sugar. Add softened butter. Mix in remaining ingredients. Spoon into muffin size pastry shells half full. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
