MOM-MOM RAU'S BUTTER TARTS 
1 c. white sugar
1/8 lb. butter
1/2 c. Karo dark
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts

Cream sugar and butter then add Karo, eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Add raisins and nuts. Spoon into pastry tart shells and bake 450 degrees for 7 minutes; 425 degrees for 2-5 minutes.
