Dinette Cake - Recipe

DINETTE CAKE

1 1/2 c. cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar

PART II:

1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg (lg.)

Part I: Sift together.

Part II: Add to Part I and beat 2 minutes. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

6 tsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. coconut

Mix all together. Spread on hot cake. Bake until coconut is brown.
