GLAZED CARROTS 
1 lb. carrots, cut into strips
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. sugar

Place carrots, water, and salt in saucepan. Cover and cook over low heat about 10 minutes. Add butter and sugar; continue cooking uncovered, stirring occasionally until carrots are tender and well glazed. Makes 6 servings.
