RED CHERRY FRUIT CAKE 
1 lb. whole pecans
1 lb. cut-up dates
1/2 lb. red candied cherries (cut up)

BATTER:

4 eggs, beat well
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sifted flour

Combine the two mixtures. Bake 2 hours at 250 degrees in very small bread baking pans. Line the pans with aluminum foil and when cake is done, peel the foil off immediately.
