RED CHERRY & PINEAPPLE SALAD 
1 can pie cherries with juice
1 can crushed pineapple
Juice & rind of 1 orange
1 pkg. lemon Jello
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cold water
Sm. amt. of red food color as desired

Heat cherries and pineapple with juice to boiling. Dissolve Jello in this. Add orange juice and rind with water. Add small amount of red food color if desired. Pour in mold and chill.

This is a bit sweet and tart as well. Makes a nice accompaniment at Christmas time with ham or turkey.
