CUSTARD BREAD PUDDING | |
4 Cups milk (scalded) 2 Cups coarse bread crumbs 1/4 cup butter, melted 2/3 cup sugar 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg Scald milk and pour over bread crumbs, cool. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt and spice. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. |
