SALLYS BROWNIES 
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 squares melted chocolate
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs add remaining ingredients and mix well, will be very thick. Spread in 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

CHOCOLATE BUTTER ICING:

1 lb. confectioners sugar
1/2 stick soft butter
Milk for stiff consistency
2 squares melted chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread on warm brownies.
