CHOCOLATE TURTLE COOKIES 
Melt:

1/2 c. butter
2 sqs. (1 oz. ea.) unsweetened chocolate or 6 tbsp. cocoa

Fold in chocolate mixture:

2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sugar

Add:

1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat waffle iron. Drop 1 teaspoon dough on iron and cover. Bake 50- 60 seconds. Take off, cool and frost.

FROSTING:

1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. milk
2 1/2 tbsp. butter

Boil 3 minutes. Add powdered sugar for easy spreading. Adding chopped nuts to cookies is an option.
