TURTLE COOKIE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
2 c. flour

Combine butter, sugar, flour and stir until crumbly. Pat firmly in 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly over crust.

CARAMEL MIXTURE:

2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine sugar, butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until entire mixture bubbles on top - boil 30-60 seconds. Pour hot caramel over pecans and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. 1 cup chocolate chips - pat chips on right away when pan is removed from oven. Spread when melted.
