SPLIT PEA SOUP 
1 lb. green split peas
3 qt. water
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. Lawry's pepper
Seasoning salt to taste

Soak split peas overnight. Drain. Replace water and bring to a boil. Skim and add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until soup reached desired thickness. 6 servings. Can be doubled or tripled.
