HEAVENLY GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
2-4 c. cut green beans (fresh or frozen) 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. milk 1 pkg. Knorr's cream of leek dry soup mix 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives (2 1/4 oz. cans), drained 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can fried onion rings or 1 c. coarsely crushed potato chips Turn cooked drained beans into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Melt butter in a pan, then blend in milk dry soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and olives. Pour over beans in the casserole. Sprinkle onion rings or chips over top. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly. You can make the whole thing ahead except the topping. Add topping when ready to bake. Serves 4 to 6. |
