FISH BATTER 
2/3 c. beer or club soda
1 egg
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. Bisquick

Mix above ingredients and let stand for 10 minutes.

1/2 c. beer
Fish fillets
1/2 c. flour

Spear fillets with fork and dip into beer, then batter, then flour. Place on cookie sheet to dry. Fry in 385 oil until brown and tender.
