SPECIAL TREAT COFFEE CAKE 
2 crescent roll pkg. (8 each)
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, pkg. (soften in microwave for a minute)
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, separated

Spread 1 package of crescent rolls on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Place second package of crescent rolls over cream cheese mixture. Brush egg whites over top and then sprinkle with topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine all. Bake at 350 degrees for a 1/2 hour to 35 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
