RAISIN SQUARES 
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 pkg. prepared pie crust
1 sm. dash of milk

Cook raisins in water until plump. Add salt, sugar, and cinnamon. If too sweet, add a touch of lemon juice. Prepare pastry crust according to directions for a 2 crust pie. Roll 1/2 dough out and place in 9 inch square pan. Spread raisin mixture on crust and fold top crust in. Brush top crust with milk. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
