PEACH TORTE PIE 
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. crushed crackers
1 tsp. baking powder

Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar. Continue to beat until whites stand in stiff peaks. Fold in walnuts, crumbs, baking powder. Grease 9 inch pan well with butter. Put egg mixture into pan as a pie shell. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes. When done fill with sliced fresh peaches. Garnish with whip cream and more peaches.
